POST NOTES: The 2025 Edition of Camp K Kicks Off

Calling all rising creatives - the 2025 edition of Camp K officially kicked on July 9th with the release of this year’s film list.  Entrants will select films on their list to create innovative, reimaged trailers, scores, sound design and graphics for existing films.

Camp K is a competition centered on storytelling through movie trailers, opening title sequences, sound design, and music scoring. The contest is open to editorial, audio and graphics assistants, junior creatives, admin and entry-level employees at AICP member post production and production companies.  Students and interns who are actively engaged with a member company may also enter Camp K. The competition is also open to assistants and junior-level employees at music companies that are members of the Association of Music Producers (AMP).

Entrants compete at the chapter level, and winners there go on to compete for the Lev, the Grand Prize. Chapter winners are announced at events around the country in early November.

On July 14th, the coaching hotline opens - it provides access to senior-level editors and artists for entrants to connect with for guidance as they craft their entry. Entries can upload their entries starting August 19th, with a deadline of September 19th.
