AICP Member Companies Sweep the Best Commercial Emmy Nominations
The Emmy nominations were announced on July 15, 2025, and AICP member production companies accounted for all six nominees.
Hungry Man scored two nominations for “Batman Vs. Bateman” for State Farm out of Highdive, and directed by Bryan Buckley; and The Walt Disney Company’s “The Boy & The Octopus” out of adam&eveDDB and directed by Taika Waititi. The latter was honored for Animation in this year’s AICP Awards.
SMUGGLER also received two nominations for Apple Privacy’s “Flock” out of TBWA\Media Arts Lab and directed by Ivan Zachariáš; and Apple Air Pods Pro “Heartstrings,” also via TBWA\Media Arts Lab and directed by Henry-Alex Rubin. “Flock” won Advertising Excellence, Animation, Concept and Direction in the AICP Awards; while “Heartstrings” won for Licensed Soundtrack Arrangement.
O Positive was nominated for “Brian Cox Goes To College” for Uber One for Students, directed by David Shane for Special US. The piece won for Humor and Performance in the AICP Awards.
Rounding out the nominations was Somesuch with “So Win.” for Nike, directed by Kim Gerhrig for Wieden+Kennedy.
The winner of the primetime commercial Emmy will be honored during the Creative Arts Emmy proceedings, which take place the weekend of September 6th and September 7th.
